Create a project - Ulysses Docs

Create a project in the active workspace from the terminal. This path is for users (and agents) who already completed Quickstart and have project:write on the tenant.

Prerequisites

CLI installed and signed in (CLI)
Correct workspace selected (ulysses-cli auth whoami)
Permission to create projects in that workspace

1. Confirm the workspace

ulysses-cli --output json auth whoami

If you need a different tenant:

ulysses-cli --output json auth contexts
ulysses-cli --output json auth use <tenant-id>

2. Create the project

Create attaches the project to the tenant’s captured organization. There is no organization flag. A successful create returns projectId, created: true, and url. Open that URL in the app, or resolve it later with links resolve project <project-id>.

3. (Optional) Update fields

projects update changes only the flags you pass. Title and project type stay as they were at create time.

Use --summary-mode append to append to the summary, --release-hold to clear a hold, and a blank --federal-number / --state-award-number / --cip-number to clear those values.
