# Match opportunities

> Inspect stored opportunity matches for a project from the CLI.

See which funding opportunities Ulysses has already scored for a project. The CLI reads the latest stored snapshot—it does not rescore from the terminal.

## Prerequisites

* CLI installed and signed in
* A project ID from `projects list` or `projects show`

## 1. Find the project

```bash theme={null}
ulysses-cli --output json projects list --limit 50
```

Copy the `projectId` you care about.

## 2. Show matches

```bash theme={null}
ulysses-cli --output json matches show <project-id>
```

The result includes `projectId`, `scoredAt`, and `matches`. Each match has:

| Field | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `opportunityId` | ID to pass to `opportunities show` |
| `opportunityName` | Display name |
| `score` | Numeric score |
| `band` | `Strong`, `Moderate`, or `Weak` |
| `rationale` | Why it matched |
| `factors` | Contributing factors |

`--limit` caps rows in the envelope (default 50).

<Note>
  An empty `matches` list with `scoredAt` null means that project has no stored snapshot yet. That is a successful read, not an error.

## 3. Open a matched opportunity

```bash theme={null}
ulysses-cli --output json opportunities show <opportunity-id>
ulysses-cli --output json links resolve opportunity <opportunity-id>
```

Copy `result.url` to open the record in the app.
